SUPERPOWER STORIES
“I thought it’s just the way it is. You’re tired because you're old, right? But when I saw my Superpower results, I was really surprised.”
Name: John Anderson
Age: 57
Profession: Retired veteran and IT specialist
John’s health journey in one word: Evolving
John’s Superpower: Motivation

John Anderson’s story is familiar. Like many of us, he spent his 20s and 30s with his health on autopilot. An active career in the military kept him fit, and his weekends saw him on the field, coaching his kids’ sports teams.
A mid-life career change, however, meant more time on phone calls and sitting in meetings. “When I hit 55, I started not feeling so good. I put on weight, I had to travel a lot for work and experienced a lot of stress. I wasn’t taking care of myself like I should have been.”
Then came the wake-up call: At 55, he had surgery for a herniated disc in his neck.
After a successful surgery to relieve the pain, a new, startling diagnosis followed: John was pre-diabetic, and his blood pressure was “through the roof.” His doctor suggested Metformin.
Before resigning to a life of medication, John wanted to ensure he was doing all he could to not only protect his health, but change his story. “As you get older, you get nervous. If you don’t get in front of your health, it’s really hard to come back from. You need to be motivated.”
John didn’t want to drift into the next chapter of his life passively aging. He wanted the energy to enjoy retirement, the freedom to travel the world with his wife, and the health to be fully present and active in his grandkids’ lives.
He was ready to take control of his health. And that’s when he found Superpower.
“The results were even better than I could have imagined.”
Discovering Superpower
After his diagnosis, John wanted to be proactive.
“I found Superpower on Instagram,” John told us, “and was immediately drawn to the depth of the testing.” He quickly scheduled his labs, and the results surfaced a few areas to address: some expected, some surprising.
More importantly, John found peace of mind in finally having a complete picture of his health and a clear plan forward.
“Superpower gave me a game plan. It gave me helpful recommendations. It could tell me, no, you don't need a daily vitamin. Your levels are fine. You don't need vitamin D, you're high there. I really like that specificity, so I’m not just taking 100 supplements a day.”
Not only that, it eliminated confusion. “I feel way better about the Superpower AI than I do about Google or WebMD. It’s so much more refined. It gives me confidence.”
The results: Uncovering the unexpected
John’s Superpower tests also discovered something his previous doctor had entirely missed: low testosterone.
“I was tired, but you know, I’m 57, going on 58,” John told us. “I thought it’s just the way it is. You’re tired because you're old, right? But when I saw my Superpower results and the low testosterone, I was really surprised. I had a physical last year and my doctor didn’t say anything about that.”
Armed with his new data, he started incorporating Superpower’s recommendations to boost testosterone, including enclomiphene.
“I feel like a different person. I don't feel like I have to take a nap. I feel like I’m in my 40s again.”
His doctor was also happy with the results. “I shared all the data and recommendations with my internal medicine doctor. And he loved what the platform offered. He said everything looks really good and just keep doing what I'm doing. And that’s essentially through the Superpower recommendations.”
A new lease on life

Having more energy, a deeper understanding of his conditions, and a clear path to feeling better has transformed how John approaches his future.
He was excited to share he’s no longer pushing through his days or dreading the next medical appointment. Instead, he’s preparing for a trip to Disneyworld with his grandkids and anticipating an active retirement with his wife.
“I have 2 year-old and 4 year-old granddaughters,” John said, “and I want to get down on the floor and play with them. My wife and I, we want to be the retirees that actually go do things instead of just sitting in the house and watching TV. We've got big plans.”
“Superpower gave me my control back.”
